Heavy rocking previously reported not fixed

Previously repprted 2 times after 28days automaticly job is complete on the website without it actually being done. I feel this needs to be URGENTLY fixed. A manhole cover and a grate like manhole where water is drained in the centre of the west heading side of the Highway has become loose and every time a car’s tyre goes over it, it makes a significant noise to an extent of constant hammering noise . This is affecting the quality of life for residents who live within 50 metres of the site we cannot sleep due to this noise nor can we open the window as it is heard even when windows closed. If the manhole cover becomes looser, this could possibly contribute to a road accident and so yes, in my opinion, it is a health and safety hazard. Kind regards, Abul Nasar
Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we have now referred it to our contractors. If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair. Agreed, this drain is making noise 24 hours a day, 4 or 5 times a minute!
