Traffic light fault
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 13:08, Tue 19 October 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3071740.
Comments: The detector loop that is meant to react to eastbound traffic isn't working reliably. Drivers are getting fed up with waiting and are jumping the red. On Sunday there was a serious collision that may yet result in a motor cyclist having both legs amputated. I didn't witness the impact myself so jumping of a red light may not have been directly the cause of that incident, but the defective loop issue needs addressing anyway. PLEASE USE E-MAIL TO REPLY, NOT PHONE. Direction of Travel: Eastbound on Gayton Road
