Incorrect set-up
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 17:56, Tue 19 October 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3072523.
The traffic lights on the junction of Dock Street, the Highway and Vaughan Way are incorrectly set-up because both pairs of traffic lights face the same direction. As it is a busy junction and the Highway is a fast road, there are often "near-misses" as people try and turn.
For example, when looking to turn (and you are already passed the first pair of lights, and in the middle of the junction) it is not possible to see any lights. Usually, one set of lights in each pair would face the opposite way such that in the middle of the junction, when turning, you are able to see the lights and cross.
