Road works noise level breach
Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 00:24, Fri 22 October 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3077465.
The roadworks commenced at 11.40pm and were too loud. They are using an electric industrial road saw, then a pneumatic drill to dig up the ground just before and after midnight? Why didn’t they start earlier and finish earlier? What was so urgent beneath the he ground on this patch of road to require the digging up of the tarmac overnight? Why were they residents at Lewis Gardens not informed about this work. We have double glazing but the sound is deafening inside my flat.
