The pedestrian countdown display is not working.

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 18:11, Tue 26 October 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3086355.

In Kingston upon Thames, at the Pelican crossing located on Wheatfield Way, near its junction with Fairfield Road (i.e. between Kingston library and the Premier Inn), the countdown display (i.e. 10 → 01) isn’t working.

This is the fourth time I’ve reported this fault in less than a year and although the fault has been repaired on each occasion, the fix hasn’t lasted very long. It seems to me that there is a fundamental flaw in the design or build of these countdown displays.
