'Wait' sign randomly deilluminates
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 11:35, Sun 31 October 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3094567.
Traffic lights on the junction between The Bishops Avenue and Aylmer Road (A1). The issue is only on one pedestrian crossing (of 8 total). Walking northbound on the left hand side of the Bishops Avenue, it is the first crossing to the pedestrian island.
After pressing the wait button the sign is illuminated, however after a random period of time it deilluminates without the sign turning green. This can happen after only a few seconds or a few minutes in other cases.
The issue has persisted for around 2 months.
