Dip in the carriageway around drain on New Cross Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:46, Sun 7 November 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3109526.

On the west-bound carriageway of New Cross Road (outside number 35) there is a dangerous dip around a (blocked) drain (dip could be 6"?). This dip is dangerous for cyclists and other road users. The drain needs to be RAISED to align with the carriageway (rather than simply adding more tarmac to blend in as this will not work - it has not in the past). The dip causes surrounding buildings to shake. Buses and lorries damage more of the carriageway as a result of this dip. The blocked drain also causes problems and the pothole becomes hidden to cyclists. The iron work needs to be raised - this should have been done when the road was resurfaced. Critically, the repair needs time to DRY when complete otherwise vehicles will continue damage the repair (as has happened previously). The issue shows as 'FIXED' on your website. However, this is NOT the case. It's been there for a number of months.
