Manhole cover on 338 Upper Street is extremely loud1

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3120551.

This issue had been reported multiple times since June and despite being marked as 'fixed' or 'closed' it's still outstanding. One of the cases TfL mentions someone else is owner of the cover and this issue was forwarded onto them - is there any update when it could be fixed? Also, would be appreciated if details of the owner could be disclosed to follow up on the issue directly. Note this cover is marked as section 81. It is really getting ridiculous - the state of the cover is worsening and it's become a hazard for the vehicles. Not mentioning causing sleep depravation and anxiety of Upper Street residents. Please resolve ASAP.

  • I think it's already been investigated and passed to the owner for repair. Please follow up with them or provide details of the owner, so could be followed up directly. It should be fixed as it's impossible to live here!!
