Cracked, trip hazard pavers,

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 19:05, Sat 13 November 2021

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3121977.

The basement owner of 226 Finchley Road Hampstead NW36DH is allowing commercial vehicles to frequently park on his forecourt. There is NO dropped kerb and recently laid pavers are starting to subside and create a trip hazard. Vehicles are forcing pedestrians into the busy bus land when they reverse out into the bas lane, This has been going on for months and is dangerous in my opinion.

  • Re Basement flat 226 Finchley Road Hampstead NW36DH By way of follow up, the owner of the basement flat is still continuing to drive over the pavement without having a dropped kerb. Damaged pavers were replaced last week directly outside 226 Finchley Road . TFL should not be spending money repairing damage caused by others !! As you can see from the many photos, this parking happens on a regular occurrence ..
