Hole in the pavement where there was a tree
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 10:00, Mon 22 November 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3136716.
One of the trees outside St Stephens School (Winchester Road entrance) was knocked down and hasn't been replaced. There is a big dip in the pavement surface now where the tree was, and because of all of the leaves on the floor at the moment, it's hard to spot. If the tree is replaced, it won't be a problem, because people will know not to step there. If the tree isn't replaced soon, it needs a temporary cover over the hole (like the big yellow one nearby that's covering another hole)
