I emailed a complaint about my local bus stop being closed for weeks now. It was closed for road works and never reopened when the works were finished. (410 bus route belvedere road se19). I was told you would get on it and sort it out. That was a month ago.

I am writing about a planning proposal,which will seriously disrupt the operation of the 410 bus route along Maberley Road. At present, the 410 bus has great difficulty moving between parked cars and there is a particular bottleneck outside 48 Maberley Road when 410 buses coming from opposite directions try to pass each other. Croydon Council is considering a planning proposal to demolish an existing house at 48 Maberley Road and replace it by a block of 8 flats. It can reasonably be expected that the demolition and construction processes, with skip and delivery lorries being parked outside Maberley Road and travelling to and from the site along Maberley Road will greatly impede the smooth operation of the 410 bus route. It an also be reasonably expected that the work will take well over a year. We see it as in the interest of TFL to express its concerns to Croydon Council. Unfortunately, there is a tight deadline. Objections to the proposal have to be submitted by 12th December. We have been trying to speak to bus drivers and officials at Crystal Palace garage but have been unable to have this taken forward by TFL at the local level. I have also tried ringing TFL but was unable to speak to anyone. I therefore hope that you, or one of your colleagues, can take action before the planning deadline. The reference number for the planning application is 21/05562/FUL. I would be very grateful if you could let me know whether TFL plans to object to the planning proposal.
