Incorrect Priority Seating signage for New shelter Bus Stop G Royal Parade towards Charlton, North Greenwich or Shooters Hill
Reported via desktop in the Damage - seating in shelter category anonymously at 15:53, Fri 26 November 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3145619.
This shelter was replaced a fortnight ago and comprises 3 sections. Looking at it from the front the left hand third and middle third have both been provided with bench seats. The right hand third has not been equipped with a seat but this is designated by a sign (see attachment for example version) showing it is Priority Seating!!
Either someone forgot to provide the third seat or in error fitted the left hand one instead of utilising it to the right hand side.
It is not just a case of the sign being fitted in the wrong place as the new shelter is designed with a metal indent for the Priority Seating sign to snuggle into so must be purposely intended it was to be signed immediately above the designated seat.
All yours to fix please and perhaps make sure the new shelters contractor does not repeat this error on any further installations.
For avoidance of any doubt it is this shelter location (NOTE old shelter shown in Google Streetview still)
