Collapsed manhole

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3152481.
This problem was previously reported and had been confirmed as resolved with a temporary repair - this repair is again now not working as there is still a 24 smashing of the manhole covers at this junction. This problem is ongoing and re occuring and has been reported a number of times , but it keeps returning. Please can you re - investigate the issue at the junction of garnet street and the highway to re do temporary repairs and then escalate a permenent fix to this issue as it continues to effect the quality of life and mental health of local residents - 9711 manhole cover

Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we have now referred it to our contractors. If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair. It has not yet been repaired. Nearby residents are mentally affected because of the noise. Can this matter be looked at urgently . Thank you

The problem is getting worse. The noise is very loud even 100m away. 24/7. Not only is this badly affecting the quality of life for lots of people, the increasing volume is clearly a sign that it is disintegrating and becoming a danger.
