Pedestrian barriers not replaced
Reported via mobile in the Debris in the carriageway category anonymously at 20:38, Wed 1 December 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3154313.
A large section of pedestrian safety railings at this dangerous junction has been replaced by temporary plastic barriers, these have now blown into the road, leaving a huge gap and offering pedestrians no protection from vehicles speeding to beat the lights. This junction is exceptionally dangerous and there have been recent fatalities. This is a very busy, very fast, major road but pedestrians are given no time to cross and no safety measures are currently in place to protect them.
