Unnecessary lane closure

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3164059.

Huge traffic disruption due to lane closure on the A1 southbound leading up to works for one small area off the road. Please register a complaint as to why this was left during rush hour with no work going on and noni reason for the lane to be closed when pedestrians can still cross the road works.

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated, at present I am unable to locate any works taking place, but it could have been a road defect and was closed off until a make safe could be carried out. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.
