Damaged manhole cover - reporting again
Reported via mobile in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 22:38, Sun 12 December 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3175748.
Reporting again as advised. Issue has been marked as fixed again - it is not fixed. Temporary tarmac covering has worn away again revealing damaged, loose manhole covers which bang loudly every time a car passes over. Is the solution to keep temporarily and badly “fixing” this every few weeks rather Than finding a permanent solution that actually fixed the manhole covers?

The tarmac cover on these manholes has worn away again leaving the damaged covers rattling and banging every time a vehicle passes over. Instead of covering with tarmac, can the covers be permanently fixed. The noise keeps me awake every night and is very disturbing.
