The road markings on Lewisham High Street around the bus stops in front of the clock tower are in desperate need of repainting. The lane divide line in particular is almost completely worn away.
The junction is a dangerous area, particularly for cyclists, with so much traffic changing lanes and buses pulling out straight into traffic. The lack of clear divide between the lanes, and the bus stop area significantly increases the danger and encourages drivers to merge into lanes in an unsafe manner
