These traffic lights are not working properly
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 15:54, Thu 30 December 2021
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3205901.
This is the pedestrian-operated crossing with traffic lights by the turn to Byrne Road on Bedford Hill SW12. The lights should only go red to traffic when a pedestrian presses the button. The lights are currently going red regularly whenever they have been green for about 20 seconds, with no pedestrian involved at all. When it's sorted, it would be good if the lights changed immediately when a pedestrian pushed the button. Previously, there was such a long wait that most pedestrians crossed without waiting for the lights to change.
