Road surface has disintegrated around manhole cover

A rocking manhole cover has disintegrated the road surface around it and is becoming a road hazard. Manhole is located on the westbound carriageway just before the traffic lights at the pedestrian junction with Dellow Street.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair. This broken manhole has been reported few times and the noise continues for months. It looks hazardous due to the hole next to the manhole. As it is on the busy road, the sound never stops. It disturbs sleep and everyday life. Can someone look at it urgently.
