Reported via mobile in the Manhole Cover - Damaged (rocking or noisy) category anonymously at 16:46, Wed 12 January 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3235959.
The manhole is loose again and clattering incessantly. This was paved over about 2 months ago but it is now even worse. Last time a request under Section 81 of the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) was sent and the appropriate party came and fixed it. Please send out another 81 for someone to fix this ASAP.

The issue is the manhole frame is loose which is causing the lid to slam very loudly. Past attempts to pave over the manhole were shoddy and isn’t fixing the root of the problem which is the manhole lid and frame. Please fix this instead of paving over.
