Northbound left traffic using straight over signal to go
Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 13:21, Mon 31 January 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3279319.
Lights are working fine, drivers in left filter lane northbound are going with the straight signal, (while theirs is actually red) Across green light for cyclists, have witnessed this at least 4 times this week one being a hgv that would have definitely caused me some damage and the driver would not have been able to see me (had I not stopped) I’ve noticed it more since the recent roadworks but it’s always been a problem. I’m surprised there hasn’t been an accident here yet, and would hate for a less experienced cyclist to rightly assume they have right of way only to be knocked off their bike by someone in essence going through a red light. Please look at more clear signalling to the northbound traffic on this junction.
