Pedestrian sensors inconsistent
Reported via mobile in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 14:20, Thu 10 February 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3303190.
On both pedestrian crossings, there are problems with the pedestrian sensors. Often when people are waiting at the crossing within the bounds of the crossing (e.g. on the textured paving), the wait buttons will clear themselves without the lights changing.
It appears that the red LEDs on the pedestrian sensors sometimes do not light up when people are waiting at the crossings.
