Traffic light is stuck on red

Reported via desktop in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 07:52, Monday 14 February 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3309284.

The traffic lights joining the A2043 and turning left or right onto the A308 stay on red. I have witnessed this myself multiple times and it is very dangerous as no one knows when it is safe to travel. I was behind a police car which then had to just go as it didn't change for at least 5 minutes. as I've mentioned this has happened many times and looking at the reports filed I can see it has happened many times to others as well yet nothing has been done. I have seen that TFL have responded to an individual saying that the lights are working as intended which shows that no one has been sent to resolve this or that the problem wasn't solved properly. I hope that this is resolved soon as it has been going on a while and it may be a matter of time before someone is involved in a traffic accident due to TFL and the Kingston council not handling this issue or taking it seriously.

Location: 130 London Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 6QJ
