Temporary footway widening curb protruding
Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 15:06, Monday 28 February 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3350731.
In the centre of the nearside carriageway, after first light signal westbound before joining A10. There’s a black&white curb end protruding 10cm above carriageway. The surface to the old pavement line there appears to be a temporary pavement widening. Barriers used to guide traffic away from the new pavement, these are now removed, so a square raised curb-end presents danger to traffic travelling west. I hit this riding a bicycle yesterday Feb 27, and fell, injuring myself and damaging my vehicle.
