Manhole cover on Old Kent Road

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3377489.

The manhole cover opposite Asdas on the opposite side of the road travelling southbound towards Newcross and beside Eric Wilkins house nearest the pavement is very loose and makes an awful noise when vehicles go over it. This is causing sleepless nights to residents and is very dangerous.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.   • This is still not resolved. I reported it in January TfL ref: FMS3234658 And then received an update to say it was ‘fixed’ but nothing has been done and it is getting louder!
