Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. Firstly I would like to apologise for any inconvenience and disruption caused to local residents, and also thank you for taking the time to contact us and notify us that the generator had been left running at the weekend. Our generators should be turned off at the end of each shift, however on this occasion the site team failed to turn off one of the generators in our compound at the end of their shift on Saturday. I do apologise for this error and the associated disruption it caused. Following this, the site manager has re-briefed the site team to make them aware of the inconvenience they caused to local residents this weekend and to make sure our site rules are followed and that the site is shut down properly at the end of each shift so that this does not happen again. Please note our works will be on-going for a few more weeks and are due to be completed in early April 2022.
