Damaged and dangerous barriers on pedestrian refuge

Pavement barriers on the center island and on the south side of the westbound carriageway have been flattened by vehicle impacts to the point where they no longer provide any protection for pedestrians waiting to cross at the traffic lights. It is known about and some temporary plastic barriers have been left there. This has been like this for many months but no repairs have been made. This is a danger to pedestrians as the barriers no longer provide any protection.
