Traffic light facing wrong way
Reported via mobile in the Damage - pole leaning / equipment detached from pole/facing the wrong direction category anonymously at 08:35, Fri 22 April 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3474633.
Traffic light on London bound a20 5 ways junction is rotated 180 degrees to face opposite direction again. This happens frequently at various light at 5 ways since new led lights were installed dec 2021. The new lights must be lower or wider or positioned differently to the previous traffic lights as they are knocked by lorries repeatedly. This has been an issue for 4 months and incurs a cost every time a contractor is sent to rotate the lights back as well as the obvious safety issues. Why can't you investigate the root cause and adjust the lights at 5 ways so these multiple traffic light problems stop happening. I keep reporting this and a contractor is sent but nothing else happens. If you are not going to address the root cause can you please say why when you respond to this report.
