No directional road markings
Reported via desktop in the Worn out road markings category anonymously at 16:04, Wed 27 April 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3487032.
No road markings are applied to indicate the correct lane for cars existing the A3 onramp to turn left towards Worcester Park.
I've seen many close accidents and I've had to swerve out myself a few times. It's been like this since 2020 now (over 2 years) and needs to be rectified asap.
There are only two lanes when you enter the onramp coming from Shannon Corner. The left lane should have a solid line with left turn arrow to indicate left turn only as you enter the onramp.
The right hand line should indicate straight arrow for travelling straight over back onto the A3 or around the roundabout towards New Malden town Centre.
Unnecessary accidents can be avoided by a simple repaint of the lanes.
