The wait button is not working

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3489251.

A new set of traffic lights / pedestrian crossing had been installed 3 - 4 months ago outside Ark Soane Academy school building.

The main issue is that the lights revert back to Red too quickly, leaving the children too little time to cross the road. Children become too impatient and sometimes try to cross at a red signal.

The issue is more prevalent during school entry hours 08:00am-08:30am Monday - Wednesday and 08:00am-08:30am Friday morning and school exit hours hours Monday - Thursday 16:00pm - 16:15pm & Friday at 15:00pm - 15:15pm

Customer needs to the timings of the lights setting on Green to be adjusted allow for a longer amount of time for the children to cross the road, in line the above entry and exit hours of the school.

Customer has advised that there will be an increase in the number of children attending the school in September meaning a greater risk of children potentially coming to harm when trying to cross the road.
