Sunken Tarmac In Road
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 14:52, Tue 10 May 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3515660.
The tarmac has not been replaced properly after some road work and has now sunken leaving some nasty potholes. I live just next to this damaged area and my house keeps shaking and cracking heavily every time a bus or lorry drives over it - which is constantly on that road. I have already complained about an issue at almost the same spot last year which has been fixed but since then a larger part of the newly resurfaced road was yet dug up again and not covered again properly. During the last 18 months cracks have appeared on various walls in my flat and I'm very concerned about the damage this causes to the old structure of the house. The constant shaking of the house at days and nights is also very stressful.
