Cycle left turn light stuck on red

Reported via desktop in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 19:53, Thursday 19 May 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3537931.

Heading eastbound from Bridge Street to Victoria Embankment, the left turn cycle light is stuck on red. This seems to be an intermittent problem, it was fine yesterday evening but this evening at approximately 17:45 it was not. The light was permanently red for this turn, while other lights, including cyclists coming the other direction from Victoria Embankment to Bridge Street, functioned as normal. This led to a long tailback of bikes and cyclists having to guess when it was safe to cross. This is dangerous and should be addressed. I and many other cyclists waited for two full cycles of the other lights before giving up and guessing when to cross. I can see previous reports of this issue have been investigated and no action taken, so perhaps it is an intermittent problem that requires more thorough investigation.
