Missing pavement slab
Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 20:06, Mon 30 May 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3553850.
There is a piece of the dropped kirb missing on the pedestrian crossing meaning that the flat access is not there in that section. When I rains a puddle forms there masking the issue. Last weekend my 4 year old daughter scooter over the crossing and due to the puddle missed the missing section and hit the kirb and flew over her scooter handle bars. She has incurred a severe injury to the mouth resulting in the loss of one front tooth. We have visited A and E and an emergency dentist and unfortunately she will have to wait for her adult teeth to come through in a few years time. We would welcome a conversation with TFL about this incident. Please do get in touch to arrange this
