Faulty traffic signals at the intersection of West Hill (A3) with Portinscale Road / West Hill Road
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 00:00, Sun 5 June 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3571712.
Previously the traffic light between West hill road and Portinscale road would go green only for a short period of time - perfectly reflecting the traffic flow, but now it is faulty and has been extended much longer all the time.
This is interrupting and causing more congestion to the very busy main road West Hill A3
Please look into this and rectify the error.

Sunday 5th June update
I just noticed the traffic light goes green itself even there’s no traffic between west hill road / Portinscale road. The sensor is apparently faulty. The trees are growing vigorously above the sensor so it may be the foliage.

We are members of staff at Pines Nursing Home, SW15 2UQ.
Nurses and carers finish 12 hour shifts, and because the bus stop near (170) towards Clapham Junction has been out of action for at least 10 days, staff are having to walk a further 10-15 minutes to the nearest bus stop. This is causing extreme stress on key worker staff.
