Shelter issues need addressing
Reported via mobile in the Damage - other (bus stops and shelters) category anonymously at 06:08, Tue 7 June 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3576535.
A couple of months ago you kindly came and removed a large amount of graphitti that was covering this bus shelter which appeared overnight, as well as removed the disgarded box/wiring that had been pulled off, and the timetable and holder that was laying on the ground following the vandalism. There are still a number of issues unaddressed now which have been left following that visit. (1) The timetable and holder have been replaced but there is no longer a “where to get your bus from (ie which stop at Blackheath. Before it had a local map with all the local stops and where to get it. This is relevant to this junction due to the complicated route of one way system three buses take with Kidbrooke Park Road and it’s adjacent road. (2) The shelter was left as you can see with marks from the graphitti as it was so bad I assume irremovalable. This seems to have encouraged new graphitti to start appearing. See photos. Can this be cleaned off, but more importantly is the state of the shelter now to be how it’s left? You can barely see the ad poster in the holder here! (3) As you can see there are still burn marks in the roof where the countdown wires were all hanging down before. Is the countdown to be replaced as there is one on opposite side of road so I assume this one is meant to be replaced too? It’s the bus stop on A2 coming from Blackheath towards Shooters Hill, last stop before Sun in Sands roundabout (Shooters Hill Road/Kidbrooke Park Road - 89/178/N89 towards Woolwich or Slade Green). Thank you.
