Yet again the pedestrian crossing is not working....

Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 19:33, Thursday 9 June 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3584635.

You press the button, the lights don't go red. This is a major crossing route for school children and families taking their children to nursery – there are several school and nurseries within the immediate vicinity.

Accordingly this needs to be rectified with the utmost urgency, and before somebody is injured trying the cross this extremely busy road.

Furthermore, there is gravel ALL over both sides of the road which is extremely dangerous.

Please rectify this ASAP.

  • This still has not been fixed. The lights change if you press the button on the south side, but not the north side. It is extremely dangerous given the number of children who use this crossing to go to and from school. There is also still gravel all over the road.
