Fixed
None of the 8 buttons at this pelican crossing function correctly
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 15:39, Tue 14 June 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3596330.
I note that this problem has been reported multiple times for more than two years and that it has been marked as 'fixed' more than once. I have been a regular user of this crossing throughout this period and it has never functioned reliably. As others have mentioned already, it is dangerous and I have seen several children grow frustrated and simply run across in the face of oncoming traffic.
