Buses on diversion because of roadworks

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3596875.

Buses 26, 149, 242, N26, N242 northbound on diversion because of the roadworks. Shoreditch high street/ Shoreditch church bus stops are closed. TfL doesn’t display this information, so it is hard to plan journey

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. Apologies for the delay in responding. In regards to your enquiry, Thames Water were carrying out emergency works due to them being deemed safety critical after damage pipe work. It is for this reason we were unable to provide any public consultation, bus information was update in due course once we were aware of the duration of works. We do apologise for this and try to ensure all works are planned in advance so we can ensure residents are kept informed, but on this occasion it was emergency works.
