No traffic light signal for drivers beyond intersection

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 11:46, Friday 24 June 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3620363.

Urgent (an issue for over a year now since we moved here, others have reported): When drivers approach the intersection in the direction towards Ewell Road (as seen in attached photo), they can no longer see a red signal if the light has changed for pedestrians to cross. The pedestrian crossing also does not time with the flow of cars where none are meant to move in that direction when people can cross, thus, I have often experienced people driving through the crossing on a green man signal (very often) and this is very dangerous. I cross here often with my baby in a stroller and it is very dangerous as you often can not see cars approaching around the corner. We in the community would appreciate your urgent support as others have reported but nothing has changed. On the other side of the intersection, there are lines for crossing but no pedestrian lights at all, rendering the crossing ineffective and unsafe.
