Traffic lights or pedestrian light timings dangerously not right
Reported via desktop in the Lamp out (traffic lights) category anonymously at 11:58, Sunday 26 June 2022
Sent to TfL 1 day, 2 hours, 49 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS3623886.
Either the traffic lights or the pedestrian lights are timed wrong. Every day when cars come from Camberwell Road to the lights at Denmark Hill outside The Tiger pub there is a point where it is green for pedestrians to walk but the cars keep driving through the lights through the crossing which makes me think it is green for them and green for us too. People have to virtually step foot in the road to tell the drivers its green for us to cross. This is an extremely dangerous situation for whoever crosses but especially those partially sighted or the elderly. This has already been reported but TFL say there is not fault. There is a fault and it is regular. This is going to cause a death if it is not fixed. Previous reference of a report of this is reference FMS3609856.
