Green light layout confusing drivers

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 20:34, Mon 27 June 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3628739.

Drivers at the traffic light (eastbound by the tube station) get confused when light goes green, unsure if its for the right turn or straight and don't move, causing the cars behind to beep their horns. It was a problem last year and for some reason has returned. It happens very frequently and sometimes the cars behind try to overtake the stationary car using the left turn lane which is dangerous.

  • Traffic lights are very confusing. Whole day we are kep hearing people confusing. When your stop at the traffic lights drivers gets confused with dual lights they keep looking at let side lights rather than right side which is for going straight forward up Battersea park road. It makes driver thinks right side lights are for turning right only and the left one for going straight. But in reality, left hand light is or tuning letf only and right hand side light are for straight and turning right.
