Hi, as another local resident, I'd like to add to the above. I'd originally (apparently mistakenly) raised this with Wandsworth Council, but they directed me back to TFL, here. They stated it was a TFL responsibility and that "Wandsworth council always specify that if works are disruptive to local residents then a letter drop will need to take place". I don't know about the resident above, but I did not receive such warning.
Further to reinforce the resident above, the use of Mysore Road is not an apt diversion route for traffic heading towards the common / north circular. It has three 90 degree elbow bends to navigate, on a street that is lined with parked cars either side, while also trying to support two way traffic. This has resulted in tailbacks, delays, frustrated drivers, and increased noise (horns, engines, etc) throughout day and night, including the ill suited trucks mentioned above, all affecting residents.
Though a greater distance, I would have anticipated that more suited roads to that level of traffic would have been down Lavender Hill and onto Cedars Road ?

Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. You will be pleased to know that our routine inspections had already picked up this issue and it has been resolved. We will however pass on your comments to the contractors regarding the volume of vehicles using the side roads as a diversion route. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused while the emergency works were being carried out.
