The manhole cover on Cromwell Road is rocking
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3659127.
Wish to inform you that the manhole issue has returned,clicking is getting worse every day now, sooner or later it will break up the road surface and evenly be a hole,I did recommend previously that the cover should be larger or moved to a more central (costly) position of the lane and not on the run of the curbside wheel of the vehicle. this issue is more prone to vehicles larger than cars,mostly vans,buses trucks and not forgetting the collection of refuse that use that lane only and 3 times a day, as Cromwell Road is a very busy road for 24 hrs I hear it all day and night.

Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we have now referred it to our contractors. If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
