Drainhole damaged
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3660301.
Drive over this drain and 5mins later car tyre warning system . Rear drivers tyre inside has been shred. Luckily I had a runflat tyre which lasted until I got home. Had the tyre replaced at a huge cost. A few days later drove past the same spot and noticed that someone has covered the drain with a hugh flat metal plate protecting others from same damage as I had seen.

If the area of the drain cover is identified as a safety issue it will be made safe within four hours. If it isn't a safety issue, we will aim to resolve it within 28 days.
