Unsafe footbridge Highview Avenue to Kenilworth Road Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 21:10, Wednesday 12 January 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3236548.
Steps on footbridge between Kenilworth Road and Highview Avenue are badly worn with bare metal exposed on some. Surfacing on steps, pathway and slope badly worn and dangerously slippery when wet or icy. Steps need proper edging (like next bridge over Edgware by Stoneyfields) and better non slip surfacing. Some amateurish repairs were done earlier this year but much has already been eroded.
