Traffic light stuck on red
Reported via desktop in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 16:53, Friday 29 July 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3716845.
The lights at the junction of Blomfield Road and Edgware Road are either stuck on red or when they are not they take at least 5-8 minutes to change to green. Today at 16:15 pm I videoed the lights for over 20 minutes without them changing, last night it took us 12 minutes to cross over the junction. I live on Blomfield Road and the noise pollution as well as the actual pollution from the cars is not acceptable. This is happening all day long, cars beeping their horns to get other cars to move forward. Today I witnessed two near crashes as cars jumped the lights to move. This issue has been going on now for over two weeks

It's now 1st August and nothing has been done. It is dangerous and the noise from the constant honking from disgruntled drivers is unacceptable.

The problem was fixed for about 24 hours but again, the red light is malfunctioning, stuck on red. The installation of these new lights has turned into a dangerous fiasco and is a constant source of noise pollution from motorists who have understandably lost patience and annoyance to residents who have to put up with the constant honking.
