Residents not informed of road closure

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 10:50, Friday 5 August 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3732635.

Today we tried to leave our car park to be informed that the only road out of our development was closed for roadworks today through to Sunday. No residents in bow river village were informed, despite the claim that we were letter dropped 2 weeks ago. We have a 190 strong WhatsApp group of residents so this has been easy to confirm. A complete road closure without prior warning when it renders our vehicles stranded is completely unacceptable. We were due to go on holiday today and will now not be able to leave until early tomorrow, assuming the road is accessible at that point.

We need urgent confirmation that the road will allow cars past tomorrow morning pls and a explanation for why we were not informed.
