Manhole cover has completely broken. EXTREME DANGER TO THE PUBLIC.

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3736221.

The missing manhole cover is on the island that sticks out into the water RIGHT BESIDE THE NATIONAL SUBMARINE WAR MEMORIAL. THIS IS A LETHAL FAULT REQUIRING IMMEDIATE ACTION THERE IS A 2 FOOT SQUARE DROP DOWN MANY FEET TO THE WATER BELOW ##########. URGENT. ########

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within one hour. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
