Barriers on hanger lane still here

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3747973.

The orange barriers are still up, it was previously reported and replied to, that they would be removed on 31st July. It is now over 10 days since then, and they haven't been removed. Please could they be arranged to be removed? THey've been here since I moved in in April 2021 with no sign of roadworks being done. Thank you!

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. We are in the process of procuring a contractor to undertake the S278 roadworks on Hanger Lane having sought expressions of interest on contracts finder last month. In the meantime, the barriers are there as interim mitigation measures until the works are complete. We expect the works to be complete in January 2023. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused while to barriers remain in place.
