Deep potholes filled with water -

Sent to TfL 10 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS3749853.

Section of road just before lights covered in water 10th August 2022 4.00pm - 4.40pm - therefore several deep potholes not visible. There is possible damage to my car. Getting garage to check. Should it be necessary is there a claim form?

  • I was not able to return to the site. My question is :- If there is damage to my vehicle - both sides were involved, pressure is now being lost in one tyre abd I have not the loss of fluid from under my car, then I would like to be able to communicate with the correct department. Options for this situation are not obvious when dialling the 0343 222 1234 number. Please contact me with the correct telephone number to advance a claim should it be necessary / my car is being checked by a garage within the next week.

If the defect is confirmed as a safety issue, it will be made safe within 24 hours. A permanent repair, if needed will be carried out during our next programmed works for the area, or sooner if we can.
